On the Notre Dame Law School Experience:
Notre Dame has provided a wonderful outlet for me to explore several different areas of law of interest to me. I have been able to learn through typical lecture-based environments but also have had terrific practical experiences with the Public Defenders’ Office and Indiana Legal Services. With the Public Defenders’ office, I defended clients at the St. Joseph County Jail. At Indiana Legal Services I did client intake. Both of these experiences have been invaluable to me as far as understanding the real life of a practicing litigation attorney. In the classroom and through my activies with SCELF, I have learned about the opportunities for attorneys in various sports and sports-related industries. These varied academic experiences combined with the vibrant student life that accompanies being part of the Notre Dame community have made me grateful to have chosen Notre Dame for my law school experience.
