On Classmates and Friendships:

“On the first day of orientation, Dean Patricia O’Hare asked us to take a good look at those seated around us. She then explained that if our class was anything like those that came before it, these people would not only be our classmates, but also our lifelong friends. She predicted that long after graduation we would be celebrating each other’s weddings, baptisms, promotions, and anniversaries. At the time her comments seemed a little far-fetched. However, after three years of developing incredible friendships and watching alumni happily reunite every football Saturday, I am convinced that my class will follow suit.”
