On the NDLS Experience:
“I have been in the working legal community for a few years now and it is in speaking with others about their law school experience that I better understand what a unique and unrivaled experience NDLS provides. For my colleagues, law school was more like a job in the sense that it was something they did during the day and left behind when the day was through. For them, law school was purely a means to an end and they do not have any meaningful connection to the institution that granted them their law degree. For me, law school was a cherished time spent growing intellectually, spiritually, and socially along side of the most wonderful group of people I have ever met. Notre Dame fosters an indescribable type of togetherness and community amongst its students that is not broken on graduation day. My connection with NDLS, the University itself, my classmates, and of course the football team, seems to have only intensified since I left South Bend. It is a nice feeling to know that on any given game-day, my friends and I are all once again together (if only in spirit) cheering on the Irish in our respective cities across the country. Our love of Notre Dame and our nostalgia for our short time spent there together comes through with every shout of “Go Irish!”
