Eck Law School The Law School Admissions Committee employs a whole-person review philosophy to create a class from a large number of highly qualified applicants. We seek to enroll multi-dimensional students with a wide range of talents, backgrounds, experiences, accomplishments, and points of view. Academic ability, as reflected in the LSAT score and academic performance in college are important; however, the committee considers a broad array of elements in addition to these two quantitative measures. Those involved in the admission process are mindful of the School’s objective to produce lawyers who are competent, compassionate, and committed to serving their clients with integrity.

Your application and supporting documents should provide the Admissions Committee with the kind of information you would provide in an interview. We do encourage candidates to visit the Law School. Although your visit does not include a formal interview, it will allow you to experience the Law School environment and meet with current students and admission counselors. If you are not able to visit, you may schedule a telephone conversation with an admissions counselor to answer any questions you may have.

The majority of applicants apply through our regular decision application process. Application review begins in late October and continues on a rolling basis. Applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible for admission and scholarship consideration. Decisions are made on individual applications as quickly as possible; however, the time required to a make a decision will vary among applications. A rolling admission process allows for extending the review process as appropriate ensuring that each application receives full and individualized attention in the context of careful comparison to other complete applications.
