Looking for Legal Help?

Due to the nature of our program we are only able to accept a small number of new cases each semester. We begin our intake process in mid-August and again in early January of each academic year. We have an informational intake line at 574-631-6704 which contains updated information on which clinics within the Clinical Law Center are currently accepting new cases and also gives some referral information.

The Community Development Clinic reviews cases for intake on an application basis. Additional information regarding the Community Development Clinic along with the application for assistance can be found on its webpage.

The Economic Justice Clinic takes cases through referral from area agencies and courts along with direct intake via our intake line. Please call 574-631-6704 to find out if we are currently accepting cases in our Economic Justice Clinic. For additional information regarding the Economic Justic Clinic please visit its webpage.

The Mediation Project accepts referrals for court ordered mediation from local courts and area attorneys. If you think you may be interested in using the Mediation Project to settle your family law or civil dispute, please let your judge and your attorney know. For more information on the Mediation Project please click here.

For assistance in Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship, please contact Jodi Clifford, Director, Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Clinic at 574-631-1148.

*Please note that the Notre Dame Clinical Law Center does not handle any types of cases not listed above nor can it provide general legal assistance or advice to individuals who are not represented by the Clinical Law Center.
